Obituary for Antonio Alfio Di Mauro

Born in Catania Sicily Friday September 7, 1934  to parents Alfio Di Mauro and Gina Leanza DiMauro. He was
the eldest of four siblings. His stillborn sister Carmella DiMauro two brothers Giuseppe DiMauro  and
Salvatore DiMauro. He was a loving father and devoted family man. Lived in Catania throughout his
childhood and world War 2 . His family sold fruit and vegetables surviving the war. Antonio interned for years
becoming a classical trained chef in Sicily. When Tony was 18 in 1952 he took the boat to America. Tony
starting his journey in New York staying there until he brought his mother and two brothers to join him. After
bringing his family to America Mr. DiMauro made his journey to Atlanta Georgia spending nearly three
decades of his life. Mr. Tony married in Atlanta having four wives: Barbara DiMauro, Ruth DiMauro, Ginger
DiMauro and Lynn DiMauro, all of which had bared children. Antonio became a big player in Atlanta having
his hands in multiple establishments. He prospered  in owning Restaurants, Nightclubs, Commercial
/Residential Real Estate. He sought to continue a long tradition of opening new establishments, The Villa
Florita (in the Fox theater), Antonio’s Italian Restaurant ,The Nitery Club, The Celebrity Club, The Onyx,  Bull
and Bush , Frances Hotel, Domino’s Lounge II. In 1986 Tony decided to move him & his family to Orlando,
Florida. Mr. Tony continued his passion for food working many years for Disney before opening Puccini's
restaurant. Antonio had an zeal for investing in rehabbing residential real estate. Mr. Tony vivaciously bought
up properties in the central Florida area becoming a major mammoth partakers in proprietor landholder. He
was a much loved family man. Hosting holiday events each year. So many hearts are broken now that we no
longer have him with us on earth.  Don Antonio is much loved and will never be forgotten.
